Hybridizers Meeting
Saturday March 8th
12 Noon, Holly house,
The Northeast hybridizers association
will meet in Holly House, Rutgers Gardens N Brunswick. We will provide soda,
coffee and some desserts. Please bring your own lunch.
Anyone interested in hybridizing
Rhododendrons or azaleas can attend no experience necessary.
We will have presentations of what our
hybridizers have been doing with their crosses. If you wish to present what you
have been doing please call 973-226-5796 or E -Mail me at: arfitz@earthlink.net Seedlings, seeds, rooted cuttings should be
brought if you want to give them to the group.
We should talk about: plant evaluation and distribution for evaluations by our
members, Perhaps what constitutes good parents, and what are unsuccessful
plants in crosses, Polyploidy and how to increase chromosome #’s. and any other
subjects you want to bring up.
